ODALC proudly presents a digital media workshop:

Reason: Beatmaking 101

About the workshop:

Want to learn how to make a rap/hip-hop beat? This workshop will introduce Reason, a music software program that emulates a rack of hardware synthesizers, samplers, signal processors, sequencers, and mixers. Reason can be used either as a complete virtual music studio, or as a collection of virtual instruments to be played live or used with other sequencing software.

Participants will receive hands-on experience with Reason, and should bring a USB drive to take home their own beats.

Participants will do the following:

  • Understand what Reason is.
  • Make their first Reason beat.
  • Get inspired to explore and create more!

A *MUST* for music enthusiasts, upcoming artists, and producers!

Cost: *$10.00

*all proceeds go to funding our community programs
